Saber - to Know

Simple Present + Present Subjunctive.

I know you are tired. Sé que estás cansado.

I don't know what to do. No sé qué hacer.

Do you know the time? ¿Sabes la hora?

They know the truth. Ellos saben la verdad.

She can cook very well. Ella sabe cocinar muy bien.

I don't know how to ride a bike. No sé montar bicicleta.

Do you know the name of the woman in the white dress? ¿Tú sabes como se llama la mujer del vestido blanco?

Maria can speak fluent English. María sabe hablar inglés fluido.

We know how to get there. Nosotros sabemos cómo llegar.

You know what to do. Vosotros sabéis lo que tenéis que hacer.

You know where the bathroom is. Ustedes saben dónde está el baño.

Do you know how to say this in English? ¿Sabes cómo se dice esto en inglés?

I'm not sure I know the answer. No estoy seguro de saber la respuesta.

Does anyone know how much this costs? ¿Alguien sabe cuanto cuesta esto?

Bernardo can speak hebrew. Bernardo sabe hablar hebreo.

I hope you know what you are doing. Espero que sepas lo que estás haciendo.

I doubt she knows the truth. Dudo que sepa la verdad.

It's important that we know how it works. Es importante que sepamos cómo funciona.

I'm not sure you(all) know the answer. No estoy seguro de que (ustedes) sepan la respuesta.

It would be good if you could speak another language. Es bueno que sepas hablar otro idioma.

You need to know how to get there. Es necesario que sepan cómo llegar.

You can also use “saber” in other verb tenses, such as the past perfect, future simple, etc.
