Antonio makes bread every day. Antonio hace pan todos los días.




 I like to eat bread with butter and jam for breakfast. Me gusta comer pan con mantequilla y mermelada para el desayuno.




Whole wheat bread is healthier than white bread. El pan integral es más saludable que el pan blanco. 




Can you cut the bread for dinner? ¿Puedes cortar el pan para la cena?

 



Bread stays fresh in a paper bag. El pan se conserva fresco en una bolsa de papel.




It smells like freshly baked bread in the house. Huele a pan recién hecho en la casa.




Bread is a staple food in many cultures. El pan es un alimento básico en muchas culturas.




Ana likes toasted bread with avocado. A Ana le gusta pan tostado con aguacate.




You can use bread to make sandwiches, toast and other dishes. Puedes usar pan para hacer sándwiches, tostadas y otros platos.




It is important to choose good quality bread. Es importante elegir pan de buena calidad.


Bread present subjunctive:Pan en subjuntivo presente



It is very important to learn the Subjunctive with complete phrases. Subjunctive mood conjugations will only make complete sense with a preceding “triggering phrase”, it means that if we use any subjunctive conjugation without the “triggering phrase” it will lack sense.




It is important that the bread is fresh to make a good sandwich. Es importante que el pan esté fresco para hacer un buen sándwich.

 


Hopefully the bread will not burn in the oven. Ojalá que el pan no se queme en el horno.




I doubt the bread will last all week. Dudo que el pan dure toda la semana.



 

I hope you bring me bread when you go to the store. Espero que me traigas pan cuando vayas a la tienda. 




I'm not sure if the bread is vegan. No estoy seguro de si el pan es vegano. 




Hopefully the bread will be hot. Ojalá que el pan esté calientito.



 

It is possible that the bread contains/has gluten. Es posible que el pan tenga gluten.




You better not eat too much bread. Es mejor que no comas mucho pan.




Even if the bread is not healthy, it is still delicious. Aunque el pan no sea muy saludable, sigue siendo delicioso.





I’m going to Do something: Voy a Hacer algo




Future of To be going to is different in structure in Spanish, first it doesn't need the verb Be, IR a just Go to: Voy a hacer, vas a hacer, etc. Followed by another verb in infinitive form, the one ending in Ar, Er, or Ir. and then we mention complement.




I'm going to buy whole wheat bread for dinner. Voy a comprar pan integral para la cena. 



We're going to make sandwiches with rye bread. Vamos a hacer sándwiches con pan de centeno.



Will you help me cut the bread? ¿Me vas a ayudar a cortar el pan



It's going to smell like freshly baked bread all over the house. Va a oler a pan recién hecho en toda la casa. 



Children will love bread with butter and jam. A los niños les va a encantar el pan con mantequilla y mermelada.



Tomorrow I am going to the bakery to buy fresh bread. Mañana voy a ir a la panadería a comprar pan fresco.



I hope the bread is not going to run out before I get there. Espero que el pan no se vaya a agotar antes de que llegue. 



I'm not sure what kind of bread I'm going to buy. No estoy seguro de qué tipo de pan voy a comprar



Would you like me to bring you some bread when I go to the store? ¿Te gustaría que te trajera pan cuando vaya a la tienda? 



I think the bread is going to be a hit at the meeting. Creo que el pan va a ser un éxito en la reunión.
