Presente Simple


I watch TV every night. Yo veo la televisión todas las noches. 


Do you see Juan over there? ¿Ves a Juan por ahí?


They watch three movies every afternoon. Ellos ven tres películas cada tarde.


We watch the soccer game together. Nosotros vemos el partido de fútbol juntos.


Do you see what I see? ¿Tú ves lo que yo veo?


I can't see very well from a distance. No veo muy bien de lejos.


See you tomorrow? ¿Nos vemos mañana?


I always watch the news before I go to bed. Yo siempre veo las noticias antes de acostarme.


Have you seen my phone? ¿Has visto mi teléfono?


They look very happy together. Ellos se ven muy felices juntos.


Do you see any difference between these two pictures? ¿Ves alguna diferencia entre estas dos fotos?


See you at the party. Te veo en la fiesta.

Presente Subjuntivo


I hope you see me at the meeting. Espero que me veas en la reunión.


I don't want you to see that movie. No quiero que veas esa película.


It's important that you see a doctor. Es importante que veas a un médico.


I love that you see the world as I see it. Me encanta que veas el mundo como yo lo veo.


I doubt we will see the solution to this problem. Dudo que veamos la solución a este problema.


You may be seeing your friends this weekend. Es posible que veas a tus amigos este fin de semana. 


I suggest you watch this play. Te sugiero que veas esta obra de teatro.


You need to see the instructions before using the device. Es necesario que veas las instrucciones antes de usar el aparato.


I'm not sure you can see it coming. No estoy seguro de que lo veas venir.

  Learning Spanish One Verb at a Time Future Ir a - Going to  Near Future unfulfilled intention in the past  The construction “Voy a + infinitive” is very common in Spanish and is used to express immediate future actions or nearby plans. It gives a stronger sense of intention than the simple future.
